Submitted by davidmoa on Sat, 2016-10-01 07:58 Groups audience Icicle Valley - 391 Vote Up Down +3 + Wednesday, October 12th, 2016 - 5:30pm to Wednesday, October 12th, 2016 - 8:00pm Join Icicle Valley Trout Unlimited members and the general public at the October 12, 2016 chapter meeting beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Icicle Inn on Highway 2 in Leavenworth. Mike Kane from the Chelan County Department of Natural Resources will present an informative program that will update members on the ongoing assessment of the Icicle Creek watershed as well as providing information about other County Department of Natural Resources work being conducted in the Nason Creek, Mission Creek and Entiat River watersheds. Mike will also share details about an extensive study of Lake Wenatchee that is presently in the planning stage. The regular chapter meeting will be preceded at 5:30 p.m. by a mini-class on the basic equipment needed to get started in fly-fishing. The mini-class is an outgrowth of the Trout Unlimited Women's Initiative. As with the chapter meeting, all are welcome, including those who are not members of Trout Unlimited.
