One of the requirements for recipients of this grant is to hold a Public Meeting during the planning phase of the funded project. The funded project is a Riparian Buffer Shade Tree Planting project in which nearly 90 shade trees of various species are proposed to be planted in the Little Lehigh Creek’s riparian buffer at five locations in Lower Macungie Township. Four locations are on township-owned land, and the fifth is on private property at which the owner allows public fishing access. LLTU will be implementing this project beginning in mid-May. Therefore, as part of the final phase of planning, the chapter is holding a Public Meeting to present the details of the project as proposed and to seek public comments on the project. Interested parties are invited to attend the Public Meeting on Thursday, May 1, 2014, at 6:30 PM. The meeting will be held in the classroom building at the Wildlands Conservancy, 3701 Orchid Place, in Emmaus, PA. Any questions regarding the proposed project may be directed to: littlelehighchaptertu@gmail.com Who's attending this event? There is no one currently attending this event.
