The 2nd Annual Mountain State Trout Festival

West Virginia Trout Unlimited is proud to present the second annual Mountain State Trout Festival at Elk Springs Resort in Monterville, WV. The new location will engage anglers more directly as the events occur within inches of rising trout. This event will become a rendezvous for trout fishing enthusiasts from across West Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic region. It is no coincidence that the first weekend in June marks one of the most magical periods for trout fishing in the Mountain State as insect hatches are at a peak. 

This year there are NO ADMISSION FEES for ANYONE! That's right. Vendors can set up free of charge (RSVP required in advance) and attendees may enjoy the expo free of charge. We simply ask that you consider a donation to Trout Unlimited to protect, conserve, and restore West Virginia's trout rivers. (Certain activities may have fees associated with them due to prize purchase and resort fees.)

There will be a vendor exposition, children's fishing derby, fly fishing school, and more.
