Agriculture producers and conservationists haven't always seen eye to eye on water in the West. But that's changing, as all sides recognize that water is a finite resource and must be managed for multiple benefits, from food to recreation. "Farms and ranches and conservation and fish and wildlife all depend on healthy rivers and healthy water flows," says Drew Peternell, director of TU's Colorado Water and Habitat program.
