With this freshwater resource comes an abundance of life, especially in and around the Maumee River. Fishing on the Maumee and surrounding freshwater ecosystems are one of many joys of living in the Northwest Ohio region. Unfortunately, improperly disposed of fishing line is an entanglement hazard for wildlife that depends on the Maumee River. In this short presentation, Partners for Clean Streams will discuss the impacts of fishing lines in our streams and offer solutions to help make our relationship with our waterways more sustainable. There is no charge for this presentation. It is free and open to the public. Summer BreakOur April online meeting is likely to be our last online meeting of the season.
