Blue Ridge TU / NC Trout in the Classroom Release

Starting this Friday, May 6th and continuting May 9th at Stone Mountain State Park in North Carolina. The Blue Ridge Chapter of Trout Unlimited will be working with the NC Trout in the Classroom to release the 2015-2016 fingerlings. Students from 6 different schools will release the trout raised in their classrooms as well as participate in other educational activities such as electro shock stream sampling and invertibrate studies. Special guests from Duke Energy will be assisting in a forestry lessen using builtmore sticks to determine the age and heigth of trees.
