Colgan Creek Restoration Project

The Redwood Empire Chapter has teamed up with the City of Santa Rosa to restore Colgan Creek.  A 1.3 mile section of the creek, previously straightened and with little vegetation, has been restored into a stream with natural contours and habitat features.  Additionally the banks of the creek have been planted with suitable riparian plants and trees.  Team Ghilotti of Petaluma was the contractor.  For more details, see: https://colgankids.wordpress.com/restoration-project/
