In our closed or restricted streams and rivers in the headwaters, suction dredge mining is still allowed. The same places where ESA-listed fish are seeking refuge are potential targets for using motorized equipment to disturb stream beds, water quality, and fish populations. Please contact WDFW and voice your support for protecting rivers and streams during this historic drought. #headwatersmatter #fishnotgold Contact Teresa Scott at WDFW - Teresa.Scott@dfw.wa.gov, or call (360) 902 - 2713 http://wdfw.wa.gov/licensing/mining/
