With its volcanos and glaciers, Iceland may seem far away, but the home of fabulous Atlantic salmon and trout fishing, is actually only a 5.5 hour flight from Dulles or BWI. Kiki Galvin, the owner of Ms. Guided Fly Fishing Services, has been a professional guide since 2002. She has been a member of Trout Unlimited since 1996 and currently serves as the Vice President of the Northern Virginia Chapter. Kiki is a past President of the Chesapeake Women Anglers, a member of IWFF, and a volunteer for both Casting for Recovery and Project Healing Waters. She has served on the Board of Trustees of PHW and visits Walter Reed Army Hospital once a week to work directly with wounded veterans. In 2012, she received the "Volunteer of the Year" award for the National Capital Region. This past September, she received the Patriot Award for her extraordinary volunteer services. Kiki taught at the L.L. Bean Outdoor Discovery School for many years, and she is currently a member of the Temple Fork Outfitters Pro Staff. Free and open to the public. Hope to see you there: Wednesday, February 17, 7:30-9:00 p.m. at the Towson Presbyterian Church 400 W Chesapeake Ave, Towson, MD 21204
