We were able to share with hundreds of Scouts our conservation mission and to demonstrate several aspects involved in fly fishing, including fly tying for many species of fish. We had two fly tying stations set up and we welcomed the Scouts to observe and/or experience a hands on guided fly tying session. In addition, we demonstrated casting and rigging for successful fly fishing adventures. Many thanks to the Erie Shores Council for the invite and opportunity to share our love of conservation practices and fly fishing.
