Making your membership more valuable

It’s May and the weather is unsettled across most of the country. That can only mean one thing – good fishing is just around the corner! Sure, we’re also busy planting willows on riverbanks. We’re teaching kids streamside about trout biology. We’re working with our neighbors to take out deadbeat culverts, but spring should renew our connection with the rivers and streams we love.

OK, you already knew TU members are eligible for hotel and car rental discounts, but recently we’ve raised the bar, adding major fishing and outdoor benefits that more than cover the price of a $35 membership. So we're announcing several new partnerships that mean more money back in your pocket and more fun on the water:

  • Catch Magazine TU members are now eligible for a 50 percent discount on online magazine subscription to Catch. "The official journal of fly fishing photography and film," is well-known for its stunning imagery. An annual subscription costs $12 for six issues—TU members can get the magazine now for just $6 a year!
  • Point6 Makers of fine Merino wool products, Point6 is now offering a 40 percent discount to TU members on their high-quality wool sock. Hint: They're really great worn in cold weather under waders! Also, we plan to do a unique TU-branded sock with Point6 so stay tuned!
  • Arc Fishing Company. When shopping online at Arc Fishing Co., TU members get 15% off any purchase online using the TU15 discount code. What's more, Arc will donate $10 back to TU if online shoppers choose TU as the beneficiary among a host of other nonprofit conservation groups
  • Trout TV Creators of quality video and film and the hit fly fishing TV show, our partners at Trout TV are offering $10 off an annual subscription to their ever-expanding online video library. Normally, an online subscription to Trout TV is $6.99 a month. TU members can now earn a substantial discount as a new subscriber. As a bonus, Trout TV will work with TU to highlight important conservation work in their video content to show members just how effective TU is when it comes to improving fishing all over America.

Our corporate and industry partners are just as important as our members. By helping us add value to being a member, they help us attract more conservation-minded anglers. This in turn gives us a larger conservation force with which to take on challenges to our trout and salmon. It's our goal to continue making TU memberships even more valuable to anglers all across America.

To enjoy these and dozens of other membership benefits, join TU and become a part of the community that works every single day to make fishing better for everyone. To learn more about these and other member benefits visit the TU member benefits page.
