The Potomac-Patuxent Chapter of Trout Unlimited cordially invites you to its First Annual BBQ Fundraiser being held at Centennial Lake in Columbia, MD on Sunday June 21st, 2015. June 21st is Father’s Day! Mark your calendars and note it in your cell phone to bring the family and plan on a day of fun, fishing, and BBQ with us. If you’re a father, have the family bring YOU as a treat to celebrate the day. There will be chances to walk home with some fabulous prizes and your BBQ ticket additionally enters you in a chance to win a great door prize. BBQ tickets will be available for purchase on the PPTU web site, at our chapter meetings, and you may contact any of the board members directly to purchase both your BBQ tickets and raffle tickets. First Prize is the West Branch Angler & Sportsmen's Resort Stay & Float Package for Two. This great prize includes three nights, 2 days float fishing on the West Branch of the Delaware River in Deposit, NY, including most meals plus guide tips. www.westbranchresort.com Second Prize is a Guided Day Trip for Two Anglers to a South Central Pennsylvania spring creek with guide and author, Mike Heck. About Centennial Park This park has won three awards for its natural design and sensitivity to nature. You can walk, run or bike the 2.6-mile paved pathway that meanders around the lake. Visitors are welcome to rent a boat, cast for fish, enjoy the colorful natural wildflower areas, watch for a diversity of birds, waterfowl, and wildlife, play a sport, or in our case have a great picnic.
