It's hard to imagine that just 4 months ago, this picture was taken on the PCT, close to Steven's Pass. It was a brutally hot August, and the day after this picture was taken, massive wildfires erupted in Oregon, and Canada, and the lakes were no longer visible due to the smoke. What a difference a season makes!
