What is described here is not invasive bucket biology where someone knowingly introduces an invasive or non-native fish species to suit their interest in having this particular fish available to fish for in their favorite, local water. I grew up in Wisconsin and did a lot of lake fishing as a kid including troling for Walleyes with minnows. I hate to think about how many times I emptied the bait bucket into the lake. While our TU membership is not likely to be doing a lot of this sort of thing, we do spend a lot of our time out fishing, and recognizing the threat from this might present an opportunity to do some evangelism and outreach to a fellow angler. I suspect this is an action that many don't even think about, but clearly, eliminating this practice would help reduce the risk of introduction and spread of non-natve, invasive fish. http://www.dickinsoncountynews.com/story/2162349.html
