This commentary in the Santa Fe New Mexican sums up perfectly the kinds of issues and solutions that confront outdoorspeople in this age when so many folks are growing blind to the importance of public lands. We need multiple use, we need protection, and, most important, we need our public lands system to be honored for the unique benefits it provides us.
