The TU Western Rendezvous is an occasion to be inspired – by tried and true lessons from volunteer leaders, inspiring conversations with newfound friends and a thoughtful agenda in a beautiful place. The event will weave the unique features of Washington state by incorporating regional culture, tribal relationships and the conservation histories of salmon, steelhead and trout into every facet of your learning experience. We hope to provide an experience that inspires you and offers new perspective on the conservation issues we face while fostering fresh energy to collectively impact our coldwater fisheries. Register now Schedule: Thursday, March 14 – Adventure Day Fish on your own for coastal cutthroat, steelhead, etc. or enjoy the many family friendly local activities including the Squaxin Island Tribal Museum, local hiking, wineries and more! Friday, March 15 – Workshops and Seminars A full-day of group discussions, concentrated workshops and opportunities for leaders to share successes and discuss common challenges. Friday night dinner is on your own. The Washington Council is offering a special no-host evening event that you do not want to miss. Saturday, March 16 – Workshops and Seminars A full-day of sessions to continue the previous day's meetings and include group discussions, concentrated workshops and opportunities for council and chapter leaders to share successes and discuss common challenges. Cap off the day with your fellow TU friends trading stories and strategies over dinner for a fun evening of camaraderie. Sunday Morning, March 17 – Fishing After a full weekend of leadership development and networking with fellow TU volunteers, stick around for fishing on Sunday. Lodging Nestled in the iconic Kamilche Valley, Western Regional Rendezvous accommodations are provided by the Little Creek Casino and Resort.
