Fallen Timbers Annual Banquet

We will be having a fundraising banquet at Rockwell Springs Trout Club in Castalia this year on Saturday, November 3. We will have dinner, silent auctions, bag raffles, and a speaker.

Our speaker will be Chris Steffen, Jr. Chris has been an member of Trout Unlimited for over two decades. He is presently the Ohio Council's National Leadership Council Representative for Trout Unlimited, and active with the Great Lakes Working Group as well as TU's Diversity Initiative Working Group. He's served on the board of director's for the Emerald Necklace Chapter since the late 90's, and well as past chapter president.

Chris and his wife moved to the Cleveland area in 1990 from Michigan, and have raised three daughters - including one avid flyfisher. He has a couple of engineering degrees from the University of Michigan, and works at NASA's Glenn Research Center on the Orion Spacecraft program.

Tickets for the banquet are $55 and are limited to 71 seats. This includes dinner, soup or salad, desert, soft drinks or coffee during dinner and two drink tickets (one for a beer, two for wine or mixed drinks). Additional drink tickets will be for sale at the event. 

There are a few hotel quality rooms available on-site if you want to spend the night. You will also have the ability to fish at Rockwell for a $70 catch and release guest fee. Attendees spending the night will be able to fish Saturday and Sunday. Those not spending the night will be able to fish on Saturday.

Fishing will start in the morning at 9:30, doors for the banquet will open at 5:30 PM with dinner served at 7:00. RSVPs required for all activities.
 

Proceeds from the banquet will be used to support our activities and local conservation groups.
