It starts at 6pm, and finishes by 8:15pm We will be serving pizza and salad and soft drinks (beer, wine etc. available for separate purchase) and each person gets one ticket to our fabulous raffle. $20 entry fee per person. The March presentation will feature Capt. Mike Allen of Midwest Waters Angling Co. providing a complete overview of warm water fly fishing opportunities in the greater Chicagoland area. Mike’s presentation will focus on smallmouth bass on Northern Illinois. He will cover the various seasons (pre and post spawning, summer and fall), and Tactics including presentation, retrieves and weather windows. Mike will also cover equipment (rod/reel sizes, flies, lines & leaders) and variety of local waters along with reading smallmouth habitat and conservation. You won't want to miss this meeting, and the opportunity to learn about the scenic and pristine warm water rivers in Northern Illinois, and their trophy smallmouth bass.
