Riparian Buffer Shade Tree Project - Planting Event #2

Groups audience
Sunday, May 18th, 2014 - 6:00pm to Sunday, May 18th, 2014 - 9:00pm

Our next planting event as part of our Riparian Buffer Shade Tree Project will be on Sunday, May 18. We will be planting at two different locations on this day, moving around the corner to the second site after all of the trees are planted at the first location. We are planting 19 trees at the first location and 17 trees at the second location. It's an ambitious project, so please try to come out to lend a hand.

The first location is a private farm that allows the public access to fish the Little Lehigh. It is located at 6272 Sauerkraut Lane, Macungie. The farm is at the corner of Sauerkraut Lane & Mill Creek Road. Park and meet next to the barn on the side of Mill Creek Road.

When we are finished planting at the first location, we will drive together to the second location,  about two minutes away.

Volunteers should bring a shovel and a pair of work gloves. Email any questions to salderfer@gmail.com.
