SEWTU Oak Creek Fly Tying

Tuesday, October 17th, 2017 - 5:30pm CDT to Tuesday, October 17th, 2017 - 8:00pm CDT

The Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter of Trout Unlimited will host a fly tying session at the Oak Creek Community Center. Sessions are open to the public, drop ins to participate, or observe are welcome.

Hi, Folks! Because it's so close to our tying session tomorrow evening, let's just plan on doing a favorite fly thing again. Barry did send me an email on Friday with some ideas for the future from an article in the newest American Angler magazine that he got on Saturday. (Who knows... tomorrow could be far enough into the future to try one or more of them.) The article was on the Driftless Region and Barry was intrigued by four flies that were listed as suggested patterns for the area: the Prince Charming, the ever-favorite Pink Squirrel, the Flash Midge, and the Blue Blood Perdigon. If you get the magazine, you might take a look at them.

Anyway..... Bring your tools and materials to make a few favorites and join us tomorrow evening from 5:30 to 8:00 pm at the Oak Creek Community Center!
