Shared Habitat in the Eastern Shale Gas Region

Eastern Sportsmen Organizer Paula Piatt will be presenting "Shared Habitat in the Eastern Shale Gas Region" to the Southeastern Montgomery Chapter of Trout Unlimited at the Pennypack Ecological Restoration Trust Visitor's Center at 2955 Edge Hill Road in Huntingdon Valley, PA. The meeting begins at 7:30 pm.

The program  focuses on the potential impacts of shale gas drilling and its associated construction activities, such as pipelines, on fish and wildlife habitats, and the sportsman's experience, as well as ways sportsmen can protect the habitat, while at the same time supporting responsible energy development. Current state and federal legislation affecting sportsmen and women and habitat issues will also be discussed.
