Submitted by myeomans on Tue, 2021-03-16 10:24 Groups audience Greater Boston - 013 Vote Up Down +39 + Saturday, April 3rd, 2021 - 8:00am In order to protect Red Brook, we are calling on volunteers to "Wear Your Waders to Wareham" on April 3 to show residents of the town of Wareham how critical their "NO" vote is to the future of their ecological and economic vitality. Use the link below to register. We will be working with coalition partners to head to Wareham's post offices and public places from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. to hold signs and show our support for Red Brook and Salter Brook Trout. As a TU volunteer, we're asking you to register to participate, wear your waders to show how much anglers care for Red Brook and demonstrate how important the recreational fishing economy is to Warhem. You will be given information on when and where to gather and be provided posters to hold and information on how to engage Wareham voters and urge them to "Vote NO to Notos" in an outdoor, socially-distant show of support.
