Morgan Run was just recently stocked below Jim Bowers road so I thought it might be a good time to try out a new spot I had never fished before. Unfortunately, other people had the same idea too. I didn't get to the parking lot until 1:30 pm and by that time the parking lot was completely full. I probably ran into about 15 anglers during the few hours I spent on the water. It's great to see so many people enjoying the outdoors except when they are enjoying the same stream as you :) The water was low and slow but there are definitely fish in the water. I didn't have much luck between so many people hitting the fish hard and simply not presenting the fish what they wanted. I'll go back again, just when not so many people are likely to be out. fyi, when walking along the banks be on the look out for pricker bushes. They are in abundance and love hooking anything that walks by.
