Some of the topics we cover in TIC are life cycle, water quality, genetics, and watershed health. There is opportunity to get out into nature and see the stream ecosystem first hand, learn how to fish, and gain an overall appreciation of just how important a healthy water ecosystem is to everything around us. We focus on 4th - 12th graders, and thanks to our many state, federal, and local Ted Trueblood chapter members that volunteer their time our students also experience a vast and diversified professional group. These mentors help the teachers and students navigate the trout life cycle from the eyed egg state to the fry stage.
