The business started in 2006 solely as a fly fishing guide service, but in June of 2008, Living Waters Fly Fishing opened the doors of Round Rock’s first and only fly shop. The business is operated by guide and owner Chris Johnson and his wife Emily. Chris and Emily share a love for fly fishing and both are avid fly anglers and fly tiers. They staff the fly shop and are committed to serving the greater fly fishing community. Living Waters Fly Fishing began as a Central Texas based guide business before our fly shop ever opened. We have been guiding local rivers for a decade and there is nothing that we enjoy more than introducing people to our home water! From the granite streambed of the Llano River to the secluded pools of Brushy Creek, we can take you there! We desire to teach our clients about the rivers of Central Texas and the wildlife they support.
