What we do Tangent Outfitters is one of the oldest guide services in the area. We can outfit the angler for trout bass or musky from our shop. We can guide for the day or rent a fishing kayak for a self supported trip. We will customize a trip to suit your desires. We will run your shuttle. We can feed your party from our cafe or pack it up for you day on the water. We strive to be the one stop shop for your time in the New River Valley. Where we do it Tangent Outfitters is located on the New River surrounded by the Jefferson National Forest. Cold trout steams come from the surrounding mountains into the trophy small mouth bass and musky waters of the New River.
