Retired a year ago and still trying to get used to it. I live on the coast near galveston and primarily fish saltwater. Always dreamed about fly fishing trout streams. When I was a kid in Arkansas my dad used to fly fish for bream and bass. I also fiddled around with fly gear too but was far from proficient with it. Now that I am retired, I plan to give it another go. Will be planning trips to the GR for some trout action and also trips to other Texas rivers for panfish and bass.
