My dad grew up on bamboo, hand me downs, rods he built and finally rods he bought. The only fly's he used were ones he tied, or that friends have given to him. Me, I am a store bought fly fisherman. In too much of a hurry, with too little time. I fish for the memories of a time when I was young and things were so much simpler.
