The FODTU Board met on February 21st to review the results of the survey and to discuss next steps. Following are the highlights of those survey results and next steps by the Board. Takeaways Two-thirds of respondents are most interested in meeting and socializing with members 60% of respondents want to hear from speakers Topics respondents most interested in: Instruction including Casting, Fishing Techniques (nymphing, streamers, etc.), Knots & Riggings, Entomology Fly fishing locations (both local and in PA) Local Conservation Respondents preferred communication channels in order: Email, Website, Facebook Next Steps The Board will engage in a serious discussion about the future direction of the chapter and how best to serve the membership based on survey results All FODTU members are encouraged to attend an OPEN MEETING and participate in the discussions Meeting will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at the Riverside Barr & Grille, 5801 S Delaware Dr., Easton, PA If you would like to help the chapter in this important initiative please do note hesitate to reach out using the Chapter’s email address at FOTDTU2@gmail.com.
