April Chapter Meeting: Backwoods Brook Trout

Our April speaker will be Dalton Terrell, president of the Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders. (Rescheduled from the snowed-out March meeting.) He will present a talk and slideshow about "Backwoods Brook Trout Fishing," a passion Dalton shares with many of us.  Dalton will cover tackle, flies, technique, stealth, times of year, and areas where you can fish for native brookies. Although no angler can be expected to reveal all their favorite streams, Dalton has agreed to share some hints on how to find the unknown spots--places in the native range within driving distance of the Baltimore area.

 

These fish can provide action for the intrepid angler during most of the year within a day's drive.
