Scott took the Chapter members and guest through a tour of the history of fly fishing through the flies that were used. He emphasized patterns of local origin. You may not of realized that many of the patterns described in Issac Walton's "The Compleat Angler" originated in the Poconos. Scott's presentation included examples of these patterns as best he gleen from the descriptions that history has left us. It was an enjoyable presentation and I highly recommend seeing it if you have the chance. Hope to see everyone at our June Picnic at Brodhead Park.
