On Thursday April 4, 2016 volunteers from the Brodhead Chapter of Trout Unlimited directed E. F. Possinger, Inc in the placement of over 100 tons of rock aquired at a discounted rate from Eureka Stone Quarry on property owned by Monroe County. The rock was used to create a saw tooth deflector, a rock cross-vain, and a rock deflector along with the placement of serveral tons of random boulders. Funding was provided by a grant from the Brodhead Watershed Association who partnered with the Chapter for this project. There will a workday on Sunday August 7, 2016 at 1:00 PM to stabilize the areas that were disturbed by work done.
