Happy Colorado River Day

July 25 is Colorado River Day, and Trout Unlimited and other lovers of this great river are celebrating the river and what it means to our lives and livelihoods. From supporting farms and ranches and communities to providing some of the best trout fishing and outdoor experiences on the planet, the mighty Colorado is an iconic force of nature that profoundly shapes our lives in the West.

But the river’s health is also seriously threatened by drought, climate change and development—it’s up to all of us, working together, to ensure that the Colorado remains healthy and flowing.
