IS THERE ANYBODY IN THERE?

I have been a member of TU for only a year. Just received a letter on a chance of the chapter I was assigned to may be dissolved. I notice only a handful of users on the site. I will be at the Feb. 13th meeting to see what is up. If you see this post give a post back to verify an existence of anyone that has been with this chapter and is involed.

Thanks Doug for your post back. As I am new to Trout Unlimited I guess I expected more content on the web page of the chapter I have been assigned. I had come across the Upper Bucks County page and seen they where active in events and content. All in all I am impressed with the endevers the organization has done and is doing. I look forward to being a part of this effort to help ensure we have trout waters to fish for decades to follow.

Best regards.

Doug, I'm new to the group as well. Did you ever get any feedback on the group. I'd be happy to help. Thanks, Randy

Gentlemen,

I urge you to attend this meeting scheduled for February 13th. I was a long time member of Perkiomen Valley TU until a move to Oregon 3 years ago, and actually re-started the chapert after a doemant period in the early 1990's. The chapter was very vibrant and active, participating in over a dozen stream restorations with local farmers and landowners. The current president is a twenty plus year member, and like a lot of chapters, especially small ones, succession in leadership is an ongoing issue. He needs help and he really needs to hand over the reigns to a younger generation. If you need his cell number or other contact information I can provide it. my email address is bluegrassbreeze2 (at) gmail (dot)com

If you can get enough interest (even three for officers and a treasurer) you should ask Chaz (current president) for a tour of the chapter's work. The reality is that the chapter needs to be built up again, starting with programs to bring people to meetings. If you would like more information on the history and activities of the chapter do not hesitte to contact me.

Best regards,

LJW
