I don’t think there has been a day below 90 degrees in July. That being said, our next chapter meeting will be on the cool banks and under the Pavilion at River John’s on Thursday July 25th 2024. Beginning at 5 p.m. we will join up with the Little River TU chapter for an evening of “grillin & chillin”. Please join us for great food and good times by the water. See below for all the details and make time for a little fishing and hanging out on the Little River. The John Thurman Trout Camp just wound down the 2024 season and was another great success. As always, we donated a full camping registration fee for a deserving young camper thanks to our generous competitors and audience at our annual “Iron Man Fly Contest” every January. Over the last few years, we have donated over $5,000 dollars to Trout Camp and as all of us who knew John Thurman, we think he would be proud of his legacy.
