Yellowstone_Cutthroat.jpg Yellowstone cutthroat - Michelle LaGory Wyoming Game and Fish officials are gearing up for the 19th annual Cutt-Slam program. Started in 1996 to encourage anglers to get out and enjoy native cutthroat trout species, the Cutt-Slam program has awarded more than 1,150 anglers with certificates showing they managed to land the following four subspecies of cutthroat in their native range in the Cowboy State: Yellowstone, Snake River, Bonneville and Colorado River.
