Our Chapter Fly Fishing School will be held this year on April 21 and 28, and on May 5 and May 12. All sessions will be held at Carpenters Brook Fish Hatchery. If you or anyone you know is interested please contact Marty Ivery at josephivery@icloud.com to sign up. We are planning an Earth Week cleanup on Onondaga Creek in conjunction with the Creek Rats. Details are still being worked out, so we will let you know when and where. The Seth Green Chapter invites us to join them for their Fly Fishing Film Festival: the F3T Fly Fishing Film Tour at the Little Theater in Rochester, NY on Saturday, April 9th, 2022 at 4pm. Chapter president, Kyle Poag, said “After missing the 2020 and 2021 events, we’re very excited to be back with a full, in-person event that includes an amazing lineup of fly-fishing films along with a ton of really great raffle items.” The fly-fishing film festival will include a wide array of short films from all over the world. Many of the feature topics of conservation and inclusion combined with amazing cinematography. From Costa Rica to Australia to Louisiana and beyond, catch the action and amazing stories of anglers from across the globe. A highlight of this event is the raffle. Items such as a full Orvis Recon rod/reel combination, guided trips, Yeti Load out box, custom-tied flies and more. Your donation to our raffle will help ensure that we can continue our conservation work in cold-water fisheries throughout our region. Join us at the Little Theater on Saturday, April 9th. Tickets can be purchased online at: ttps://flyfilmtour.com/buy-tickets/ Seating is limited, so don’t delay! The next Iroquois Chapter meeting is April 6 via Zoom. I will send out a link and agenda soon. With luck this will be our last zoom meeting before resuming in person meetings of the chapter
