Resumption of In Person Activities

Hi folks, it has been a long time since the June Picnic, but Fall is here and we are ramping up our meeting schedule.

If you have time this weekend stop and say hello at the Hatchery during Sportsmen's Days.  We will be doing casting and fly tying demos near the pond, so if you want to volunteer let me know.

For Fall 2022:

October 5 at Nibsy's Pub in Tip Hill. Come join us for dinner at 6:00 Meeting starts at 7:00 PM.  We have two featured presentations for this meeting:

Mallory Zabinski from the Village of Marcellus will tell us about the Village's  Green Gateway Park at the North entrance of the Village.  In this park there will be walking trails, an outdoor classroom for students of all ages, an arboretum and handicap fishing access.  This summerthe Village worked with US Fish & Wildlife and the DEC to add creek vanes for stream stabilization. Marcellus High School students have been helping design the layout of the park. The next step is to add a handicap fishing access platform.  They are reaching out to us in hopes that we may have some guidance as to the design of this platform and/or ideas of other groups that may be interested in helping/funding it.
