This season would not have been the same without the amazing speakers who shared their time and knowledge with us — a special thank you to Jason Randall, Krystyna Meyers from the Shedd Aquarium, Gordy Martin and Matt Jennings. Their passion and expertise brought real energy and insight to our meetings. I also want to extend my deep gratitude to our incredible Board members: Bill Davis, our Secretary and Conservation Chair, who is the driving force behind our newsletter and website. Kurt Meier, our Treasurer, for expertly managing our finances and ensuring smooth reporting to Trout Unlimited National. Seth Horowitz, for coordinating our trips at the start of the year. Buzz Epstein, for stepping in midyear as Chapter Trips Coordinator to plan our wonderful spring outings. Darwin Adams, for continuing to lead our Youth Education efforts (and to David Mooney, who it taking over for Darwin). Jud DeLoss, for continuing as our Vice President, despite his heavy workload. Tim Ratty, for his outstanding work as Trout in the Classroom Chair — with nine tanks now in classrooms across the North Shore and beyond. Todd Montalbano, our Fundraising Coordinator, for his important work supporting the financial health and future of our chapter including our awesome swag and cool raffle prizes A huge thank you as well to all of you — our members — for your support and patience through all the location changes and last-minute speaker adjustments. We are thrilled to (hopefully) have found a new home at Italian Kitchen in Deerfield, and we look forward to many more great gatherings there. I wish you all a wonderful and successful summer fishing season, wherever your adventures may take you. I can’t wait to see everyone again in September and hear all about your fishing stories!
