TAPS Montana Men's Retreat a Success!

Working with the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) http://www.taps.org/, TU's Veterans Service Partnership hosted 2 great days of fly fishing in the Paradise Valley south of Livingston, Montana.  Nearly 30 TAPS folks who have lost loved ones in military service enjoyed the wonderful hospitality of Chico Hot Springs Lodge http://www.chicohotsprings.com/# and two days of floating and fishing the Yellowstone River and fishing on two wonderful private lakes on the Story Cattle Ranch near Emigrant, Montana.  The while the weather was on the rainy side, the trout didn't care, and the TAPS folks enjoyed some great fishing and experienced the therapeutic power of the mountains and moving waters..... Over 20 local fly fishing guides and TU members from the Joe Brooks and the Madison-Gallatin TU Chapters provided 32 volunteer guided trips over the two days!  Way to go TU'ers!
