Welcome to The Trout Line Newsletter! This is our Tualatin Valley Trout Unlimited Chapter newsletter that will be coming out twice a month on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month.

 March Chapter Meeting

Join your fellow TVTU Chapter Members for food, good conversation, fun, and common interests. Learn what your chapter is doing and get involved. We meet in person at Old Market Pub or virtually.

This month we have Terry Turner giving us an update on Salmon Super Hwy. The Samon Super Hwy is a local organization that is committed to restoring stream and river access for fish while also improving habitat and improving recreational opportunities which also help stimulate local economies. Terry is a member of CRTU and is their Chapter Treasurer in addition to being the Oregon Council Chair.

Build your own Driftboat

My son-in-law and I were going to build it, and then our daughter and he moved away. A Don Hill was my first driftboat – I loved the warmth, handling, and beauty of that boat. TVTU Board Spots are Open

With one Board member’s move and several retirements, a few spots are now open on the TVTU Chapter Board and the Board is seeking new members. The tasks are not great. Board meetings are currently held via Zoom at 6 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of the month, with some months skipped if not needed. We encourage anyone who might be interested to join in on one of the meetings to get a feel for what helping run the Chapter entails. Meetings Location and Dates

Regular chapter meetings are held at the Old Market Pub 6959 SW Multnomah Blvd., Portland, OR 97223.  Food and beverage available.  Social get together starts at 6:30pm and speaker starts at 7:00pm unless otherwise noted in the newsletter or website.
