August 23 at Lost Lake in Mt. Hood National Forest.  This Lost Lake is on the north side of Mt. Hood near Hood River.  A day trip was planned in mid-week as it is a busy spot in the summer.  Boats can be rented at the resort if desired.  There are big rainbow here!

July 16 at Clear Lake in Mt. Hood National Forest.  This lake is just off Hwy. 26 on Mt. Hood.  This is a day trip, and the hope is that the fishing will hold up well with the wet spring and snowpack.

The Clackamas Chapter gratefully reserved a number of camp spots early on, so members can show up and pick an empty spot or share with someone else.  Fishing there does provide a good opportunity at fish over 20 inches, with a variety of hatches depending on weather.
