It's sweeping bends, deep pools and tailouts that collect spent mayflies and create a buffet worthy of the river's storied trout are the stuff of legends. But Paradise Valley might be falling short of its description of late. Lower flows, higher temperatures and the stresses of development are changing the valley and the river that slices so seductively through it. Trout Season - Last Call from Sage Fly Fish on Vimeo. The video above is just part of a multi-media piece produced by Sage and the Greater Yellowstone Coalition—the entire story is worth your time, but the film is particularly salient. It's honest. It's beautiful. And it's a little scary. If you love the Yellowstone, carve out some time to spend experiencing this production. Every river needs advocates. The Yellowstone is no different. — Chris Hunt
