Winter's not done with us yet, but if you're like me, a little sunshine goes a long way—fishing with snow lining the river isn't always a bad thing when the sky is blue. But this winter has been tough. I've been recovering from back surgery, so not only haven't I been fishing, I couldn't go if I wanted to. And with great winter trout streams within an hour's drive, it's been a bit torturous. The short film above was just what the doctor ordered: a reminder that winter fishing is cold ... and that it can be quite good, too. As the back heals, I'll keep this on the short list.
