The American River - Sacramento / Carmichael / Rancho Cordova (Section 18)

Hatchery and Wild Steelhead, Salmon, Striper, Bass, and American Shad are just some of the fish available in the American River. Our group will provide information on the river's current fishing conditions, form groups to conduct river section clean-ups, as well as provide a platform for discussion about the river in general. 

We are extremely lucky to have such a clean and productive river flowing right through our city! Lets do our best to keep the river's best interest in mind by cleaning up trash, releasing undersized or native fish, and following laws. Our passion for the health of the American river and it's fish populations can and will make a huge difference in the future health of this fishery.
