First Cast Program

    I recently joined TU and the Sal Font Chapter. Sadly, I must admit I had no ideas either group existed prior to last week. As a self taught trout fisherman, I would have loved to be able to participate in something such as the first cast program when I was younger to learn the art of fly fishing instead of trying to figure it out on my own and go through such frustration.  In addition to that the simple fact that I had no clue that these organizations existed means that I probably am not the only one in that position. For these reasons, I am asking the chapter to consider organizing a first cast program in the Webster Springs area to teach trout fishing techniques and to utilize the Elk and Gauley Rivers as possible streams.
