I'm out here on the West Coast (Feather River) to develop a Basin-Wide Native Fish Assessment and Improvement Strategy. I'll be using GIS to assemble historic distribution products, watershed conditions assessments products, manage a current distribution dataset to be developed by implementing eDNA sampling (protocol steered by GIS analyses as well), and subsequently applying said information for a restoration strategy at the same scale. One question I am considering in this early phase is how best to digitize historical survey information (USFS and other agencies); would that simply be attributing NHD?
