I'm traveling with a group of students - a 5 Rivers group from Wisconsin - to the Great Smoky Mountains. We'll be staying around Wears Valley, Looking for any assistance in what to expect in early March, flies to fish, places to try (or avoid), etc. to make it a great experience for the students. Most will be rather inexperienced anglers. I've been the the Smokies a few times but have just hiked and toured, I've not fished the area. One more immediate question, when the park says that the road is closed in Winter - is early March still winter in that area? Thanks, -Jason
