Brodhead Chapter Trout Unlimited Volunteer Opportunity, McMichaels Creek

On Sunday August 7, 2016 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM we will need volunteers to help with clean-up from our stream improvement work on the McMichael Creek at the Monroe County Park adjacent to the Monroe County Correctional Facility at approximately 1430 Manor Drive in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania 18360  (Site: N 40.95193, W075.28887, Driveway at Manor Drive N 40.95013°, W 075.28750°).  We will filling in ruts, top soiling, seeding, mulching so shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, and gloves would be the appropriate tools.  Directions are as follows:

 

From Route 33 Northbound: Exit at the Sciota Exit (Manor Drive, Driver License Center, Prison Exit) and turn right onto Manor Drive, proceed 0.30 miles on Manor Drive and turn left onto the gravel driveway past the prison and the red barn.  Parking Lot is located at the end of the driveway.

 

From Route 33 Southbound: Exit at the Sciota Exit (Manor Drive, Driver License Center, Prison Exit) and turn left onto Manor Drive, proceed 0.25 miles on Manor Drive and turn left onto the gravel driveway past the prison and the red barn.  Parking Lot is located at the end of the driveway.
