The YMCA is located on the banks of SpectaclePond in Sandwich, MA. This is a weekend, sleep over school that includes lodging, meals, and tackle. Trout Unlimited instructors teach this introductory fly fishing course that includes: casting techniques, fly tying, equipment and fly selection, knot tying, insect identification, stream etiquette, reading the water, conservation, safety, and all the basics of the sport to get you on the water catching fish. Men, women, and accompanied teenagers are all welcome. So whether you fish the salt or the fresh, lots of local fishing knowledge can be learned as you master the skills of fly fishing.
